Brian, It might be time to re-do this video, and show the "Easy" and more Correct way to do this gasket. I've seen a few other videos that are obviously copies of this one, as they all use the Exact same method. The Much Easier way is; From the Rear Side of the gasket, or in other words, the - Inside of the door - side of the gasket.. Put the Gasket in a Dryer for 5-10 minutes on Medium Heat. Remove and let set for 3 minutes to allow you to hold the gasket. Install the gasket Into the Door Rim. Use Windex to spray around the Inside of the Inner Groove. The one that holds the glass. Firmly Grasping the glass, press it into the gasket at 5 and 7 o'clock. Work the Glass into the gasket firmly pressing it downward as you work the Gasket up and around the Glass. I usually keep my leg against the glass to make sure I don't drop it. When the glass is approximately halfway in on each of the sides, about @ and @, pull the lower flap of the gasket and relieve some of the friction, this will let the glass "seat" into the lower half of the gasket. Now carefully pull and work the gasket up and around the rest of the glass. You might need a Flat screwdriver to assist in working the last bit of gasket over the glass at 12 o'clock. When the glass is fully into the gasket, pull the rear flap part of the seal outward all the way around, a little at a time to allow the gasket and the glass to "center". Run your flat screwdriver around the inner edge of the gasket where it meets the glass to be sure the small sealing flap in correct. 35 year Service Tech, and I've been doing it this way since the beginning, usually with just my fingers.

Did you have a video on building specs as far as requirements for utilities based on building size/ anticipated number of machines with enough leeway built in for future growth or larger capacity machines? I’ve heard others mention that water supply lines should be of a certain size 2” or maybe more as well as high capacity natural gas should be confirmed from the gas supplier. Electric requirements phases, amps? What else should be considered? Ceiling height? Ducting for fresh air intake and exhaust for dryers and their location.

How much do the credit card readers and Apple Pay end up costing the business? I’m familiar with PayPal fees, but I’m curious how much a POS terminal or other app based pay system charges for their business. Do they batch the reimbursements to your account (like a daily drop/ deposit), or is it a new deposit on every charge/ wash/ dry?

Very good presentation Brian! I am retired from the business and used MS. Visio for layouts which now appear pretty primitive. Only comment I have is the presentation of the equipment sizes. I would always place the larger washers in front to attract customers. In fact, washers under 30# are not used much at all. Point is the customer wants to get wash day over with as quickley as possible. 60# & 80# washers are actually used more in today's laundries. Good luck and thanks for the tutorial!

There's another technique using a wire that takes less then a minute to install. With a screwdriver you risk puncturing the gasket.

Why has nobody designed a specialty tool to remove/replace the door gasket, that would initially slightly stretch the gasket out of its track, then help guide the new one into the track and smooth it around the groove -- much as the specialty roller-guide tool helps guide the new spline [cord] when replacing the screening material in a screened door? Yes, a flathead/slotted screw driver can be used but there is high potential to have it slip & cause injury to both the installer as well as cause nicks/rips to the gasket itself.
